Irish-born Thai, Baht owner, Nan, currently chef at Uno Mas in Dublin. Nan’s previous experiences includes a wealth of knowledge from restaurants such as Pichet in Dublin and being a Stagiaire at two-Michelin star Gaggan in Bangkok. Growing up with a family full of chefs inspired her to study Culinary Arts in Technological University Dublin. Nan’s food inspiration comes from her family’s cooking, her childhood holidays in Thailand’s Isaan region, her travels and her experiments with cooking in her own home. Founder of Baht, Owee, studied hospitality management and has been working in the industry since she was 16 years old. Owee also has experience in working with multiple 5-star hotels in Dublin. Owee takes inspiration from her travels and trying different restaurants from around the world. Owee started cooking since she was 7 years old and is passionate about experimenting with Thai recipes to then creating her own version of those dishes. Owee hopes to open more restaurants in future to showcase food from different regions in Thailand.

Noad, owner of BAHT moved to Ireland over 30 years ago. Before moving to Ireland, Noad worked as a chef in Bangkok before applying to work in Siam Thai in Monkstown, Dublin where he was the Executive Chef back in 1997. Noad then decided to bring his relatives over to Ireland who are all now chefs in multiple popular Thai restaurants around Dublin. He co-owned the now closed Baan Thai Leopardstown and is now working on Baht to bring authentic Thai food to Carlow. Noad is well known amongst the Thai people in Ireland for always lending a helping hand to the Thai community.
